Detoxification & Your Diet

Detoxification
Can Eating the Right  Diet
& Foods Help You To Detoxify?

We have talked a lot about diet and eating the right foods, but we would feel we were leaving something out if we didn’t discuss chemicals and detoxification.  There are many health professionals today who think that the barrage of chemicals we are exposed to in our environment today, in our air, water and food, is causing a backlog in our bodies, and this is at least a contributing factor in many diseases, including cancer, heart disease, allergies, obesity, diabetes and more.

Many of these professionals think that everyone needs to take specific steps to detoxify their body on a regular basis, so we are going to discuss some of the ways you can do that in your diet.  All sorts of types of greens can be very beneficial in detoxing.  In addition, there are certain herbs and products that can help you specifically cleanse and detoxify and support your intestines, your kidney & your liver.  These are key detoxification areas that most of us can benefit from addressing.

Greens in Your Diet Can Help With Detoxification

We have talked about greens in general and how they can add much needed nutients to your diet, including vitamins and minerals.  They also tend to help the body to detoxify.  This includes greens you might eat in your salad or cook up like with spinach and kale, and it also includes greens as supplements.  Eating foods like chlorella and the cereal grasses like wheat, oat and barley grass can help with detoxifying your body.
