Avoid Eating Processed Foods

Avoid All Highly Processed, Refined or Chemically Altered Foods in Your Diet

  • Refined sugars – Sucrose, Corn Syrup, Dextrose, Fructose, etc.
  • White Flour
  • Vegetable Oils like Corn, Soybean and Canola – found in most packaged sauces, salad dressings, cakes, cookies, etc.
  • Powdered Eggs, Milk or Cheeses
  • Luncheon Meats like Hot Dogs, Pepperoni, Bologna, etc.
  • Artificial Sweeteners and Fats like Saccharin, Aspartame and Olestra.

These foods, besides being bad for your health, have been implicated in many studies as causing weight gain, so you really need to stay away from them! 

Eating Too Much Refined Sugar In Your Diet Causes Weight Gain, Heart Problems, Cancer and More

Eating refined sugars like white table sugar (sucrose), high fructose corn syrup, dextrose an d more, can cause numerous health problems when you eat them in your diet over time.  Some of the diseases that have been linked to sugar use in the diet  include high blood sugar & type II diabetes, high triglycerides, heart disease, depression, anxiety, weight gain & obesity and more. 

Refined Sugar:  Negative Calories (not just empty calories)

Part of the reason eating too much sugar and too many sugary foods can cause so many problems is that it is not just excess calories.  Your body also needs to use up B vitamins and other nutrients just to process and digest the sugar - and these nutrients are totally absent in refined sugar.  This can create all sorts of deficiencies and problems.  In addition, eating refined sugar depresses the immune system and makes you more suceptible to all sorts of illnesses, including the common cold and the flu, and also cancer.
